That was Copilot on Bing. I work for Microsoft, so I use Bing a bit. I don't know if Copilot on my computer directs to an updated LLM over what the general public gets. It's possible that Microsoft gives employees access to something newer.
I plugged in "Roadkilled" and it found this old post. After restating some of the information from that post, it started to make things up. I worked on the ZuneHD, but I don't own one. I have an older Zune. I have no interest in a Joy Division Zune and I don't know why it thinks I want the Zune resurrected.
From Copilot:
Ted doesn’t spill the beans on future Surface or Xbox developments. Confidentiality is key! He’s not a software person, so don’t blame him for any Windows issues. Ted respects personal preferences: Apple, Linux, PlayStation, Nintendo—it’s all good. And yes, he’s even cool with jokes about the Zune HD, a product he worked on.
Zune Nostalgia:
Ted owns not one but two Zune HDs—one at home and one in his office. He wishes Microsoft would resurrect the Zune. The Zune subscription service was way ahead of its time. Fun fact: He’d love to get his hands on a Joy Division Zune!
