Following this thread. For reasons
Excellent. I won't ask any questions. But uhh, I guess the thread is kinda short.
Littleton (home of Schilling) also has a candy shop with little jars, like an old school Candy Counter - supposedly the longest one in the world(?) it is very, uh, long. It's a neat town. Needless to say (to @Dusty-Ventures) it's very near Team O'Neil, @deekster_caddy if your mother is into rallying. We'll go up just to ride the rail trail and go to Schilling (good pizza too!), there's other good MTB stuff up there, mostly too tough for my kids (for now).
Moore Reservoir is neat, but not much of a destination unless you have a boat or want to swim.
Bretton Woods has a fairly new gondola up to a nice, even newer mid-mountain restaurant/bar with spectacular views of Washington, but I suppose if you just went up Washington the appeal is somewhat less. I've only been up there in the winter, and not in the fancy restaurant part.
