It's about $3000, so even with the cost of shipping and shit, it's still cheaper than most USDM wheelchair vans
I wonder if this is because it can't pass local country fitness for the public roads regulations that are non-existant in much of the US. From reading some of David Tracy's adventures in Germany, I get the impression it would be really difficult to get a 25 YO Citroen to pass the needed inspections, and I suspect that this would be true in most of western Europe..
The ad says it has a current inspection, valid until 2/2025
the dealer/seller:
De Lange APK is Geldig tot 15 Februari 2025 !
which Google translates to:
The Long MOT is Valid until February 15, 2025!
MOT probably means inspection, so the inspection is good until 2/2025 ๐
They seem to require annual inspection, so it last passed 3 months ago.
It has OBD2, so as long as the check engine light isn't on, it will pass most states' US inspections โบ
And of course, much of the country doesn't have inspections at all ๐
But I've seen other wheelchair vans in Europe at prices much less than they cost here, even after importing costs ๐ฐ
However, they are less cool than this one
