@ClassicDatsunDebate the 80s ?!?! Ha ! My grand-grand-grandfather was an anarchist. Living in a little town in France, he was preemptively thrown in jail a couple days before and during holidays, so as not to disturb the peace and festivities. It’s nothing new.
Since we’re on this subject, his son, my grand-grandfather, ran away from home at the prime age of 14. His family didn’t hear about him until sometimes during WWI, when the military reached out to them as he was in the hospital, having caught a bullet in his heart. He not only survived the injury but lived the rest of his life with the bullet there. Iron man, if you will, by without the sci-fi technology nor the zillionaire family.
Later on, working in a factory he lost a hand in a stamping press. He found employment as a local constabulary, and the urban legend says he had the strength of two men in his remaining hand. Oh, and his wife, my grand-grandmother, lost her two legs after falling off a tramway and getting run over…
So yeah. We all are snowflakes, or something.
