I've called around to Infiniti dealerships to see if they can reprogram the odo on-site, but none do.
It's odd that they don't have the capability to read/write ODO information from a scan tool to a new cluster. I figured your car would be modern enough for that.
You can try asking Tacoma Speedometer if they have the ability to write new data onto a used cluster. They are one of our approved repair facilities for older cars. I am not sure who is available down in OR. The mileage is stored in memory on the PCB of the gauge cluster, not necessarily on the same board as the ODO sub display.
The trick is going from one used cluster to another used cluster and I have no idea if they have that ability. The only thing I am able to do is go from used to new. New clusters are usually in a write state when they arrive so its pretty easy to do with the OEM software.
