@ash78 I generally do not name the cars, but I think my 02s name is "Richard" because when I bought it there was a sticker on the back that said something about a rally in the memory of someone named Richard, but really all you could see was "Richard". I think he's more of a "Rich". Def not a Rick, or Dick...maybe a Richard (French pronunciation) when he is pressed and dressed.
If you were to corner me about car names. The M3's name is "Rhonda" because I loved the beach boys when I was a kid and that car did help me out of a bad spot. We took it to a beach party at a local bar in my 20s, dressed like idiots, blasting the beach boys the whole way. We had to leave it overnight because we got hammered but before we did we took a series of pictures that I cannot share of us pretending to drive it. A cop took the pics for us and then jumped in...one of him driving, one of him pretend arresting us, one of him actually ball tapping my buddy after he went over the line with a cop joke.
Finally sticking with the R's. The M5 I guess is "The Red Rocket". Partially because it is red and fast, but more so because it's off putting to those who associate a red rocket with a dog boner.
